Eye Film Museum
Amsterdam, Netherlands
Project Overview
Eye Filmmuseum is a renowned museum in Amsterdam dedicated to film and the art of moving images. Located on the northern bank of the IJ River, directly opposite Amsterdam Central Station, it serves as a dynamic hub for film heritage, contemporary cinema, and creative innovation. The museum houses an impressive collection of over 60,000 films, ranging from Dutch classics to international masterpieces.
LightSpark has been responsible for the programming and commissioning of the museum's lighting control software, based on the Pharos Architectural Control platform. This system manages the main Arena lighting, the hallways, and the second-level bar. A wide range of fixtures is integrated throughout the venue, including static white, tuneable white, and RGBW luminaires, all of which are controlled via fixed touch panels strategically placed around the building.
